I always find exhibitions a bit of a whirlwind...bumping into old colleagues & friends, meeting with business associates, making new connections as well as talking with prospective clients. Cram in a quick lunch or a gulped cold coffee at some point of the day, hours & hours on your feet, then once the delegates go home its partying until the early hours with the big suppliers only to be up early to start all over again on day's 2 & 3!
But its the following week when things really ramp up. Coordinating information from the team; following up with new trade connections plus getting in touch with clients who showed an interest in our services is the tip of the iceberg. Its the dissection! What did we do well? What did we not do well? What shall we do again? What shall we not do again? What do we do at the next show? Do we do another show?
This is where it really hot's up! There are so many differing opinions regarding attendance levels, costs, how to make an impact, that its mentally more exhausting than actually being there!
We have a lot to talk about & a few big decisions to make, but BDIA 2017 for us was great. We networked, we made friends & we bonded. Will you see us there next year? Watch this space! ...
